TexMacgic Support

TexMacgic is a native macOS workspace for writing, organizing, and previewing LaTeX documents.

Getting started

TexMacgic uses a compatible TeX distribution already installed on your Mac, such as MacTeX, TeX Live, or TinyTeX. On first launch, the app checks that TeX is installed and guides you through the one-time Enable Local TeX step before opening a project.

For support, bug reports, or feature requests, please open an issue on GitHub.

When reporting a problem, please include:

• your macOS version;
• your TexMacgic version;
• the TeX distribution and version you use;
• a short description of what happened and the steps needed to reproduce it.

Please do not attach confidential documents or personal information to a public issue.
